Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George was on another level Wednesday night against the Brooklyn Nets, and superstar point guard Russell Westbrook had to do something to cool his running mate off.

Paul George scored 47 points, including 25 in the fourth quarter to help the Thunder defeat the Nets on the road. During George's postgame interview, Russell Westbrook poured water on PG-13, yet another example of how close these two superstars are.

With the win, the Thunder are 16-7 on the season and have won four games in a row. Paul George shot 15-of-27 from the field, 6-of-13 from beyond the arc and 11-of-14 from the free-throw line against the Nets. The five-time All-Star looks so much more comfortable with the Thunder in his second season with OKC. Many questioned why George re-signed with the Thunder after OKC lost in the first round of the 2018 playoffs to the Utah Jazz. It's still early, but George is showing he made the right choice.

Paul George entered Wednesday averaging 23.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. The rapport George is developing with Russell Westbrook, both on and off the floor, is very important to the success of the Thunder. It appears the two All-Stars genuinely love playing with each other.
