Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook is all about theatrics. The explosive guard loves to put on a show, home or away, and he did just that Thursday night against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Thunder were up 106-102 with roughly 40.0 seconds left in regulation. Russell Westbrook had the ball at the top of the key and started to drive left after receiving a screen from center Steven Adams.

After coming off the screen, Westbrook hit Hornets big man Cody Zeller with a filthy shammgod move for an easy layup, a play that drew oohs and aahs from the Charlotte crowd.

Russell Westbrook has never lacked confidence. To even attempt a shammgod in crunch time takes a lot of guts.

The Thunder defeated the Hornets by a final score of 111-107 for their third-straight win of the season. Westbrook finished with 29 points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists in 37 minutes of action while shooting 12-of-24 from the field and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line. He also racked up three steals.

Oklahoma City started the season 0-4. Russell Westbrook told local reporters after the fourth loss that he would make sure the team gets back on the right track. After three wins a row, Westbrook has delivered on his promise.
