It was a hostile Wednesday night to say the least at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Of course, it was for good reason as the Oklahoma City Thunder came into to town to face the Indiana Pacers. As many already know, it was also the first visit of superstar forward Paul George to his former team.

The Thunder were able to pull out the 100-95 victory over the red-hot Pacersthanks to a big night from center Steven Adams. Superstar point guard Russell Westbrook showed his appreciation by “slithering” on into Adam's post-game interview to deliver a well-executed RKO.

For those that are still unaware, the RKO is a patented move made famous by WWE icon Randy Orton. Needless to say, it was pretty much what Adams delivered to the raucous Pacers fan trying to spoil George's return to Indiana.

Steven Adams finished with 23 points on a night where the Thunder's “Big 3” struggled to get anything going. Amazingly, he was an efficient 11-of-16 from the field while Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony went a combined 10-of-45 on the night.

While a performance such as this may have seemed like somewhat of a phenomenon, Adams has a knack for showing up when the Thunder need him most. Many remember his perfect night against the Minnesota Timberwolves nearly two weeks ago where he scored 27 points on 11-of-11 shooting while the “Big 3” shot 20-of-49.
