In the first triple overtime game of the 2017-18 NBA season, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 119-117. Despite Joel Embiid's 34 points and eight rebounds, Russell Westbrook finished with his 10th triple-double of the season — 27 points, 18 rebounds, and 15 assists.

During overtime, Embiid fouled out Steven Adams and waved him goodbye. However, Westbrook had the last laugh as he waved Embiid goodbye following the Thunder's win according to Streamable:

Throughout the season, it is well-documented Embiid likes to have fun by trolling his opponents. From Hassan Whiteside in the preseason to Adams now, he is entertaining on and off the court. Unfortunately, it will be a challenge for Embiid to troll Westbrook on social media after losing perhaps the game of the season.

As the Sixers do not play the Chicago Bulls until Dec. 18, the Thunder will face the New York Knicks on the second night of a back-to-back situation. With Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, and Paul George all playing at least 45 minutes, it will be interesting to see if they have the energy in Anthony's first game back in New York since the offseason trade for Enes Kanter and Doug McDermott.
