Sacramento Kings second-year point guard De'Aaron Fox recently said he's the fastest player in the league, faster than John Wall, faster than Russell Westbrook, faster than LeBron James, faster than everyone.

Well, it's fair to say Russell Westbrook heard those comments and didn't appreciate them.

In the Thunder's 132-113 win over the Kings on Wednesday, Russell Westbrook — as he often does — went end to end for an and-one layup. After the foul, Westbrook yelled, “I'm too fast,” taking a shot at De'Aaron Fox.

You have to love the confidence from De'Aaron Fox, but talking smack against Russell Westbrook is a very bad idea. The former MVP and triple-double machine already plays with an anger and chip on his shoulder that we haven't seen from a superstar player before. You don't want to do anything else to motive him even more, and unfortunately for the Kings, that's exactly what Fox did.

Russell Westbrook recorded a triple-double against the Kings on Wednesday, finishing with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 17 assists. The Thunder are now 20-10 on the season.

De'Aaron Fox held his own for the Kings. The lefty scored 28 points and dished out 12 assists in 37 minutes of action, but it wasn't enough, as the Kings fell to 16-15 on the year. Russell Westbrook won this matchup, both in the basketball box score and track field.
