Twitter users had a field day mocking Oklahoma City Thunder star Chris Paul following news that the NBA would be setting an anonymous tip hotline inside the bubble at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Now, speaking to TNT's Ernie Johnson on Monday, the 35-year-old guard revealed that he wasn't even aware of the ribbing up until his wife told him about it.

“I didn’t know, to tell you the truth. I didn’t know til my wife said something to me about it,” the Thunder veteran admitted. “My wife cracked a joke about it. But I mean, it is what it is. I can’t control that.”

“I didn’t see all of them. My wife sent me something about it. But I don’t even know.”

Aside from being one of the best floor generals of this generation, Chris Paul does have a reputation for supposedly snitching on opposing players. An astute student of the game, CP3 frequently bugs game officials about in-game violations that the opposing team makes.

In a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves last December, Paul alerted referees that opposing player Jordan Bell's jersey was untucked, prompting officials to call a delay of game and a technical foul in the closing seconds of the match.

Paul's call was truly clutch for OKC, as they tied the game at the end of regulation and went on to steal the W in overtime.

Online mockery aside, no one can deny the phenomenal season Paul is having with the Thunder.

After hearing naysayers call him out for his slow start, CP3 bounced back big time and helped the Thunder surge to sixth seed (40-24 slate tied with Houston Rockets) in the stacked Western Conference.

Paul made his 10th All-Star appearance last February after norming 17.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 63 games.
