Tiger Woods and his 11-year-old son Charlie will be formally competing together for the first time this weekend, and bettors are somewhat enthusiastic about the Woods' chances.

The Woods boys will team up this weekend in the 2020 PNC Championship—a family pro-am event—at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.

Justin Thomas (the No. 3 ranked golfer in the world) and his father are the current favorites at +200. Bubba Watson and his father-in-law, Matt Kuchar and his son, and Tiger and Charlie Woods are next at +600, followed by Jim Furyk and his son (+800), per OddsShark,

Bettors tend to favor Tiger a little too much, regardless of his form, but the action on the Woods team in this case may largely be due to the skills of Charlie. Tiger's son has already seen success on the junior circuit — winning back-to-back titles over the summer—and videos of his smooth swing and confident putting have provided an enticing glimpse at his undeniable talent.

“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be playing with Charlie in our first official tournament together,” Tiger said. “It’s been great watching him progress as a junior golfer and it will be incredible playing as a team together in the PNC Championship.”

Tiger Woods began his illustrious golf journey at a young age, too. In 1974, at the age of two, he appeared on TV with Bob Hope to show off his swing, and he was featured on ABC's “That's Incredible” at the age of five.

The PNC Championship is a 40-player, 20-team event, featuring a slew of major champions from the men's and women's tours. Teams will play in a scramble format, in which both players play the best ball all the way into the hole, comparing their scores against that of the other family teams. There is no cut.

Tiger and Charlie will tee-off at 11:48 a.m. ET on Saturday.
