Legendary PGA golfer Tiger Woods has released his latest update surrounding a recent car crash that left him hospitalized and in critical condition. According to a formal statement released by Woods on social media, the 45-year-old has left the hospital and will now be continuing his recovery at home moving forward.

Woods also made a point to thank everyone that has reached out to him with words of encouragement and support over the course of the last few weeks while acknowledging all of the medical professionals that have helped him progress in his road to recovery as well.

“Thank you to all the incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center,” Woods said in his statement. “You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough. I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day.”

Now back at his South Florida residence, Tiger Woods is currently recovering from severe leg injuries that he originally suffered back on February 23rd. Woods was involved in a single-car accident in Southern California, a wreck that left him with significant injuries to both of his legs. It is also worth noting that Woods has suffered from both leg and back-related ailments for quite some time while often undergoing surgery to repair the damage.

Even though Tiger Woods is already making his way back from quite the traumatic experience, it remains to be seen as to whether or not he will ever return to golf.
