After the horrific car crash that took place back in February, Tiger Woods was rushed to the hospital after suffering major injuries to his legs. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department conducted a thorough investigation to find a reasonable cause. They concluded that speed was the sole reason for the crash.

The pro-golfer has no recollection of the accident, and after spending some time in the hospital, Woods has been sent home. Tiger Woods himself has finally released his first statement since the crash via Twitter.

This confirms the case is closed and Tiger will be moving on from this accident. He makes sure to thank the individuals who helped him through this situation. Woods appears to be healing at home, spending time with family while he recovers.

It is unknown as to when Woods will be able to return to action, or even how long the recovery period might last. Due to the seriousness of his leg injuries, we may not see Tiger Woods on the golf course anytime soon.

As you could expect, Tiger Woods will not be participating in the highly coveted Masters Tournament. Instead, he'll be at home observing the tournament for the third time since 2014. Although, this situation is vastly different in comparison to the other two times.

It's nice to hear that Tiger Woods will be okay and that the crash wasn't more serious than it had been. Hopefully, Tiger can get back to playing shape, as he's considered to be one of the best golfers of all time.
