One name that might not be that familiar to most NBA fans is Milos Teodosic. Teodosic is a European legend, former Euroleague MVP, and a champion with Olympiacos and CSKA Moscow.

After an incredible career in Europe, the Serbian guard is apparently prepared to take the next step and finally join a NBA team.

Teodosic went undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft which means that he can now join any team without many financial restrictions other Europeans had when coming overseas. In the last couple of weeks, multiple reports came out, predominantly in the Serbian media, about the plethora of teams interested in the point guard.

Conflicting reports came out during the first couple of days of free agency concerning Teodosic. Firstly, word came out that Teodosic was ready to join the Chicago Bulls on a four-year, $48 million deal, but that deal was refuted very fast. Teodosic was also connected to the Nets and Jazz, while the Minnesota Timberwolves are the latest to join the hunt.

The Wolves, per Darren Wolfson of ESPN, are talking to the Serbian guard. Teodosic to Minnesota makes sense on two levels. One would be that they need a back-up point guard after signing guard Jeff Teague and trading away both Ricky Rubio and Kris Dunn in earlier trades. Secondly, forward Nemanja Bjelica and Teodosic know each other very well from the Serbian national team, so the transition to the U.S. might be easier for Teodosic if he is joined by a fellow Serbian.

However, the same report states that these talks are, for now, just talks, without a concrete contract on the table.
