There has been a bit of a heated war of words between Kevin Garnett and Minnesota Timberwolves team owner Glen Taylor. NBA commissioner Adam Silver has chimed in on the issue stemming from the team's impending sale, and Silver admitted that the exchange does not sit well with him.

According to Silver, he's not very pleased with how the pair has decided to air their dirty laundry in public:

Kevin Garnett started the exchange by throwing a not-so-veiled shot at Taylor for his actions during the potential buyout of the Timberwolves franchise. According to Garnett, it was Taylor's actions that led to KG's dream of purchasing the team vanishing into thin air. Taylor quickly fired back with his own jab, claiming that Garnett was never part of the buying group in the first place. The worst part here is that they made their spat public — something commissioner Silver seems to be upset with.

Whatever the case may be, it is clear that a change in ownership in Minnesota appears to be forthcoming. Taylor isn't exactly a well-loved figure and his feud with Timberwolves legend Garnett certainly isn't helping his cause.

It's not as if Taylor is crying about this fact, though. After all, he's still worth $2.5 billion regardless of what people think of him. He's also going to make a substantial profit if and when the sale of the Timberwolves franchise goes through. Unfortunately for Garnett, it does not look like he's going to be a team owner anytime soon.
