Andrew Wiggins and the Minnesota Timberwolves have been one of the most intriguing teams to watch early on this season. That intrigue doesn't have as much to do with Wiggins as it does his teammate, Jimmy Butler.

Throughout the entire offseason, rumors were flying that Butler would be traded before the start of the season. Butler had requested a trade from the Timberwolves, but the team has yet to grant that request. That has left the team with an extremely talented roster and a lot of drama to go along with that talent.

Coming into the season, Wiggins wanted to make sure he played more consistent basketball. Unfortunately, he suffered a quad injury against the Indiana Pacers and will miss some time.

According to a report from Chris Hine of the Star Tribune, Wiggins will miss Wednesday's matchup with the Toronto Raptors due to the injury.

In the first four games he has played this season, Wiggins has averaged 15.8 points to go along with 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He has shot 43.1 percent from the floor overall and has knocked down 31.3 percent of his 3-point attempts. Those numbers may not be what he wanted to start the year, but he is still an integral part of Minnesota's lineup.

Josh Okogie has impressed so far as a rookie. He filled in for Wiggins nicely against the Pacers, scoring 12 points, grabbing four rebounds, and also chipping in three steals.

Wiggins should be back in the near future, but the quad simply wouldn't allow him to play in Toronto, which is a bummer given he's from the area.
