Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins will be listed as questionable for tomorrow night's road game against the Toronto Raptors. The 6-foot-8 Wiggins only played eight minutes in last night's win versus the Indiana Pacers before exiting the game due to right quad contusions.

Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic tweeted out this development from the Wolves camp.

Even so, Wiggins downplays the severity of his injury, per Chris Hine of the Star Tribune.

“I’m good. I’m feeling better,” Wiggins said. “Got a lot of treatment throughout the game. We have a good training staff, so I think I’ll be cool.”

“Thank the Lord I haven’t really been injured in my career,” Wiggins said. “This is nothing. Just a little bruise. I’ll be good.”

Interestingly enough, Andrew Wiggins has missed just one game of his young four-year NBA stint. The 2014 top overall pick has been a model of durability for the Timberwolves, logging in an average of 36.2 minutes each game. The 23-year old Toronto native has averaged 20.3 points through the first three games for the Wolves this season. His scoring would definitely help against a loaded Raptors team.

If Wiggins' recovery from the contusion becomes rather slow, head coach Tom Thibodeau could put in the rookie Josh Okogie in the starting line-up. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was a DNP during the team's first two games but has earned some quality minutes since then. Last night, Okogie scored 12 points on top of four rebounds and three steals.

Thibodeau could also opt to insert Derrick Rose to the starting five against the, but the Jazz' wing combo of Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles would be a tough defensive assignment for the former MVP.
