According to one of the broadcasters for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Derrick Rose is the hardest-working player in franchise history since Kevin Garnett.

As reported by Adam Spector, a broadcaster looked back on Garnett's playing days and compared his work ethic with Rose's.

Perhaps it's this work ethic that's allowed Rose to stay in the NBA after the string of knee injuries that seemingly ended his career. Though he may never be the same explosive player again, it's his hard work and determination to stay that makes him so valuable to any team.

And clearly, Rose's discipline and perseverance are paying off. The Timberwolves had beaten the Utah Jazz, without Jimmy Butler, thanks to a career night from Derrick Rose where he scored 50 points.

Can we safely say that the old Derrick Rose is back? Maybe not just yet. But this game might spark a few more stellar performances from the former Most Valuable Player of the league.

It's pretty clear that Rose still knows how to score the ball and play the game at an elite level. Just like the old days, the clip above shows that he can still get to where he wants and how he wants. This is a much-needed confidence booster for Rose.
