It wasn't too long ago that Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards revealed that he had “learned a new skill” during the offseason. He was pertaining to how he'd become an ace in the sport of bowling, while also claiming that he scores 200 or above during games.

For those that are not too familiar with the sport, 200 is a pretty high mark for bowling. It's no easy task. This is why most folks believed that Edwards was joking around when he made this audacious claim — especially considering how based on his own admission, he just recently learned how to bowl.

The Timberwolves youngster seems to have taken offense at the naysayers, so he decided to send some proof of his bowling prowess. Edwards recently took to his Instagram Stories to show that he had just scored a 243 in a recent bowling game:

It doesn't look like he's faking it (why would he?) so it does appear that Anthony Edwards is a legitimately excellent bowler. We apologize for ever doubting you, Ant.

To be fair, Edwards did go a bit overboard when he talked up his expertise outside basketball in the aforementioned interview:

Anthony Edwards literally said that he can swim like Olympic record-holder Michael Phelps. This is why most folks (yours truly included) thought he was just kidding around. Well, he just proved us wrong about the bowling part. Perhaps the swimming claim is next? That I'd like to see.
