It's been a rosy start to the season for Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves, as they are 3-1 after playing their first four games. But it was only Wednesday night when the Timberwolves started to turn lots of heads because they didn't just beat some team. They downed the reigning, defending NBA champions, Milwaukee Bucks, who lost, 113-108, despite being the hosts and Giannis Antetokounmpo exploding for 40 points.

Edwards discussed the monster performance of Antetokounmpo for a bit during the postgame interviews, and it was just as colorful and hilarious as you'd expect from a character like the Timberwolves young forward.

Via Jace Frederick of the Pioneer Press:

Antetokounmpo is in the prime years of his career. This is the time when he's supposed to be unstoppable and he made an example of it against the Timberwolves, albeit in a loss. Edwards and company used a balanced attack to offset the two-time MVP's dominance. Edwards finished with 25 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. D'Angelo Russell had 29 points, while the Timberwolves' own unicorn, Karl Anthony Towns, produced 25 points.

Now that they're past the challenge of dealing with Antetokounmpo and the Bucks, up next for the Timberwolves is a date with the Denver Nuggets at home on Saturday.
