The Minnesota Timberwolves are the hottest team in the NBA right now after winning 10 out of their last 11 games. There's no denying that Anthony Edwards has been integral in the success of the Wolves, emerging as one of the top two-way talents in the league today.

Edwards showcased his elite skillset on both ends of the floor yet again on Saturday as the Timberwolves took down a Giannis Antetokoumnpo-less Milwaukee Bucks, 138-119. Ant was tasked to defend one of the best scorers in the league in Khris Middleton, and Minnesota held him down to just 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting.

This came just two days after Edwards and Co. blew out the Los Angeles Lakers. Edwards loved the challenge of defending LeBron James, and apparently, this all comes naturally to him.

When asked if he took extra time in preparing for games against the likes of LeBron and Middleton by watching film, the Timberwolves stud was overly confident in his response:

“Nah, not at all,” Edwards responded. “I know I'm a great defender so I don't watch no film on the guys. I just go out there and use my instincts.”

Talk about supreme self-belief, right? Edwards is so confident in his innate skills on the defensive end that he no longer bothers watching film — not even if it's the great LeBron James he's going up against.

One thing you cannot deny is that the Timberwolves have an absolute gem in Anthony Edwards.
