Minnesota Timberwolves forward Anthony Edwards is going to be a problem for many years to come. After a so-so start to his NBA career, he picked it up in the second half of last season, making highlight after highlight. He narrowly lost to Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball for Rookie of the Year, and many believed they could've been co-winners.

But it looks like Edwards has no time to focus on what could've been. This early, he's already working on his game. While some players have been busy jostling for new contracts, the high-flying, rim-rattling wingman is getting more burn time.

In one video, he was seen playing a pickup game supervised by player development coach Kierre Jordan. While the clip was just a few seconds long, it's clear Edwards is in top shape, easily scoring buckets over defenders, including former NBA player Jordan McRae, who's hoping to make it back to the league. Edwards' outside shot also looks wet (via Swish Cultures).

The 20-year-old Edwards looked so impressive, Washington Wizards Bradley Beal couldn't help but post a two-emoji reaction on Twitter and reposted the video. It's also worth noting that McRae was Beal's former teammate.

Of course, some will interpret this as Beal wanting to join Edwards on the Timberwolves. Because that's the world we live in now. But that's also what makes the NBA offseason so much fun. It's still unclear where Beal will land, but surely, the picture will be clearer once his stint with Team USA in the Tokyo Olympics ends.
