Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Dario Saric says it's still surreal that Derrick Rose is his teammate because he used to play with the former MVP on NBA 2K when he was growing up in Croatia.

Both Saric and Rose come off the Timberwolves' bench and are a big reason why Minnesota is on a four-game winning streak and 7-2 since the Jimmy Butler trade.

Dario Saric has appeared in eight games with Minnesota and is averaging 10.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from beyond the arc. His energy and passion for the game have really rubbed off well on his new teammates.

Derrick Rose, meanwhile, is having an All-Star-type season with the Timberwolves. In 20 games, Rose is averaging 19.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game and shooting 49.8 percent from the floor, 48.6 percent from beyond the 3-point line and 85.5 percent from the free-throw line. Rose is the fourth-best 3-point shooter in the NBA right now, trailing only Bojan BogdanovicNemanja Bjelica and Stephen Curry. All the hard work Rose put in over the summer to improve his jump shot is paying off in a big way.

The Timberwolves are 11-11 on the season, ninth place in the Western Conference. Just a few weeks ago, they were in second-to-last place in the West. The turnaround this team has made is fascinating to watch, and Rose and Saric have been big contributors to the club's success.
