Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose says he is “grateful” for all the fan support he gets.
Rose was almost voted in as an All-Star starter this season through the fan votes. His comeback story this campaign has captivated fans everywhere and the former MVP says he and his family appreciate all the support and love.

Derrick Rose scored a career-high 50 points on Halloween against the Utah Jazz. It was a spectacular performance from a player who has undergone four knee surgeries since winning the MVP award back in 2011 with the Chicago Bulls.
In 51 games this season for the Timberwolves, Rose is averaging 18.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. The 30-year-old Chicago native is shooting 48.2 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from beyond the arc and 85.6 percent from the free-throw line.
Based on internet searches, endorsements, and social media followings, Derrick Rose is the 54th most famous athlete in the world, according to data collected by ESPN. Rose has 10.4 million followers on social media and a lucrative shoe contract with Adidas.
D-Rose becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer. It will be interesting to see if he returns to Minnesota, or chooses to sign with a contender. The Timberwolves are going to miss the playoffs this season.
