Miami Dolphins star wideout DeVante Parker has challenged Minnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell to a game of HORSE.

Upon seeing Parker's tweet, Russell warned the Dolphins wide receiver about his cocky attitude.

DeVante Parker should be careful here, as D'Angelo Russell is not only one of the best players in the NBA, but he's a smooth and accurate shooter as well.

With the Golden State Warriors and Timberwolves in 2019-20, Russell averaged 23.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. The lefty shot 42.6 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 80.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Timberwolves had the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft, selecting Georgia guard Anthony Edwards. Minnesota is hoping Edwards, Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns can be the trio that leads the franchise back to the playoffs in the rugged Western Conference.

Since reaching the Western Conference Finals in 2004 under the strong shoulders of Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett, the Timberwolves have only made the playoffs once. That was back in 2018 when Jimmy Butler, Andrew Wiggins and Towns were the Big Three.

It's going to be interesting to see how many games Minnesota wins during the 2020-21 season, which starts on Dec. 22. Not many people are expecting the Timberwolves to reach the postseason, but you never know what can happen in the NBA.
