Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Jimmy Butler is expected to play Monday night against the Indiana Pacers after sitting out the previous game due to precautionary rest.

The game is at home, which means Butler could be booed again as he was last Friday at the home opener versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. There also could be MVP chants as well. Who really knows how the fans are going to react. This whole saga has been dragging on for too long now.

Jimmy Butler, sensing that the reactions Monday could be negative again, took to Instagram and posted a picture with one of the famous quotes from everyone's favorite superhero film, The Dark Knight.

Throughout this whole trade saga, Jimmy Butler has consistently said he's not a bad guy and that the media has portrayed him in a negative light. The four-time All-Star claims the fans don't really know what's going on behind the scenes.

In his wide-ranging, controversial interview with Rachel Nichols of ESPN, Butler said not everyone in the Timberwolves' organization is telling the truth, and that at times, he didn't feel wanted by the franchise last season.

Butler scored 23 points in the opening night loss to the San Antonio Spurs, and 33 versus the Cavs. The Timberwolves enter Monday night's matchup with the Pacers with a record of 1-2. If he plays, Jimmy Butler will be in the starting lineup alongside Jeff Teague, Andrew Wiggins, Taj Gibson and Karl-Anthony Towns.
