Timberwolves fans will be happy to hear that Jimmy Butler is training hard during the offseason. The offseason is a time where players look to improve their game so they can compete for a championship. Guys with that killer instinct only want to get better so they can rip out their opponent's heart next chance they get.

While Butler isn't in the gym working on his jumper, but he is working on that killer instinct. Butler was seen on video practicing medieval fencing in an interesting outfit.

Butler can be seen working with a wooden sword and wooden shield. To be honest, he looks pretty good out there, but this is to be expected because we all know he's a world-class athlete.

Although Butler looks like a natural with a sword in his hand, he doesn't quite have the same killer instinct in his eyes that he gets when his team is down in the fourth quarter with the game on the line. It's ironic that Butler looks like a little kid in this video where he is learning how to spar with a sword.

Clearly, Butler is just having some fun during his offseason. While the rest of the league worries about where stars like Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James will end up, Butler is living his best life.

And you can be sure that Tom Thibodeau gave his All-Star player a call and let him know that he needs to stick to wooden swords. The last thing the Timberwolves need is losing one of their best players to an offseason injury involving any type of medieval weaponry.
