Jimmy Butler and the Minnesota Timberwolves aren't on the same page. With Butler wanting a trade, he doesn't feel any extra pressure to play a game if he's not feeling 100 percent. Something he made it clear after Friday night's loss is that he lets the team knows when he plays. Butler also made it clear he might miss Sunday or Monday night's game or he might just decide to sit out both of them.

“I let them know,” Jimmy Butler said via ESPN. “They don't know how my body feels. So if I'm nicked up, then you can count on that. I don't know. We'll see how it goes. I don't know what we plan on doing tomorrow. Obviously, I got to get some treatment along with a lot of other guys. But we'll see whenever Sunday and Monday gets here.”

Butler missed all of the preseason and although he might be nicked up and not feeling 100 percent, he's also clearly not 100 percent trying to help this team win. If he had already been traded, and he wasn't feeling 100 percen,t he would still probably be playing for his new team, but it's clear he doesn't feel like he needs to give it his all with the Wolves.

The Timberwolves star seems to be doing everything he can to try and push the trade through sooner than later, and missing these games are all probably part of the plan. The Wolves play the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday and the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, so watch closely if he decides to suit up in either of those games.
