Minnesota Timberwolves star forward Jimmy Butler might be recovering from a season-ending injury, but that isn't stopping him from trying to get into his opponent's head.

His talents are amazing, but his troll game is just as competitive depending on the day you catch him. You'll find Butler taking shots at someone — teammates or opponents — which makes for plenty of perfect memes online, or at friends.

This particular time, it was Carmelo Anthony's turn to be on the receiving end of one of Butler's shots, which centered around the NCAA March Madness tournament. Butler and Anthony bonded in the summer of 2016 when they both represented Team USA in the Olympics.

There were plenty of social media posts of different team members always ribbing each other, and it seems as if Butler hasn't stopped yet.

The Oklahoma City Thunder forward posted a message for his Alma Mater Syracuse who won a tournament game, only to be met with a sarcastic remark from Butler in his comments.

Anthony is slowly starting to signs of aging after being in the league for 14 years, but somehow Butler exaggerated the years to remind him that it was eons ago since Anthony donned Orange for his old college squad.

The one year the Thunder forward did play for the Orangemen, he led them to a national championship before entering the NBA Draft, so it's natural that he would have pride in the team. That was only 15 years ago, and when asked about the comment, Anthony had his own response, namely, Butler as he calls it, is just a hater.

“Jimmy be hating. Jimmy’s hating. He’s mad because Marquette is not in [the tournament]. He’s bored right now, so no hard feelings.”

Tune into March madness as Syracuse is scheduled to face off against Texas Christian University on Friday, while Marquette will participate in the NIT starting Sunday.
