The falling out between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Jimmy Butler is the biggest story of the preseason. It's clear that Butler wants out, but Tom Thibodeau and the Timberwolves have yet to find a suitable trade.

We have yet to hear from Butler directly, though that's about to change:

This should be a compelling interview, especially given Wednesday's reports that he had a heated exchange with the team during his return to practice. Not to mention, he supposedly beat the starters while playing with the third-stringers.

It will be interesting to hear Butler tell his side of the story. He wants out of Minnesota, but we already know that. Now we will finally get to hear a candid reason for why he's so desperate to leave Minnesota.

If he's practicing with the team then there is at least a small chance that he is still with the Timberwolves on opening night. How will this interview affect him in the locker room? Will there be any blowback from this interview? Or is everybody past that point?

There are far more questions than there are answers. Hopefully, Butler's interview with ESPN will clarify some things after an explosive day at Timberwolves practice.
