The Minnesota Timberwolves cruised past the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, 104-88. They controlled the third quarter and outscored OKC by 11 points, which paved the way for comfortable flow the final frame. Jimmy Butler led the way for the Wolves, as he notched a team-high 26 points to go along seven rebounds, eight assists, four steals and two blocks.

Judging things from his all-around numbers, it may seem that Butler had an easy day at the office. Although it certainly wasn’t his worst, the veteran swingman pointed out one instance in the game where he basically found himself questioning his strength.

We are guessing that it takes a lot for someone like Butler, who’s a no non-sense, hard-nosed type of player, to give an opponent props in such a way, so we can only imagine how sturdy Steven Adams really is.

After his light-hearted NSFW quote, the Timberwolves star continued to describe how overwhelmed he is with Adams’ power:

“I don’t know. He’s like from Krypton or something. He’s strong. I’m gonna call him and let him set a screen on you. It’s bad. Dude, I’m trying to tell you.”

Well, that seemingly unforgettable wall that is Adams is staying away for a while. Butler can at least relax for the next couple of months, because last night was the two teams' final meeting this regular season. The Wolves won the season-series, winning three of the four meetings. Butler averaged 22 points, 5.3 rebounds, and seven assists in those match-ups, while Adams compiled 18 points and 8.8 boards.
