Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns had the game of his life on Monday night as he dropped 60 points on the San Antonio Spurs. That was the most points by any player in the Association this season and following the contest, KAT had a rather bold reaction to the breakout performance.

Via Dane Moore:

“I feel any time I touch the ball, I'm unstoppable. I don't think anyone in this league can guard me one-on-one… I feel like that any time I touch the ball, any shot I shot tonight, I feel like that any night against anybody.”

Certainly the right attitude to have if you're going to succeed in this league and it was the case in San Antonio. The Timberwolves star was truly doing it all, going 7 for 11 from three-point range and also grabbing 17 boards. Towns had no problem scoring at all three levels and proved exactly why he should be considered one of the more dangerous big men in the Association.

With the win, the Timberwolves are now at 40-30 on the year and comfortably in seventh place in the Western Conference. They're also just a game and a half behind the Denver Nuggets for the final playoff spot. As of right now, Minnesota would play the Los Angeles Clippers in the play-in tournament.

If KAT keeps playing at a high level, anything is possible. But, he will need the likes of Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell to step up and deliver if the Timberwolves are going to make a run.
