Karl-Anthony Towns didn't exactly say the words, but he said something that can make you think that despite their world-class basketball skills, he and Andrew Wiggins are still just like many other 22-year-olds out there.

They like to play video games… a lot.

In a live-streamed video on Twitch, the Minnesota Timberwolves star shared how he and Wiggins played all night long.

“It was in Indianapolis, and I played 'til… I played 'til 6 in the morning. It was bad. It was pretty bad.”

Staying up until early morning when you have Tom Thibodeau as coach, who is known to give a demanding schedule for practice and in-game playing time, sounds reckless.

But hey, that's what winning probably does. Coach Thibs' familiarity with the squad and the arrival of star Jimmy Butler, among others, have visibly improved the Timberwolves.

The 24-14 Timberwolves are fourth in the mighty Western Conference, and have now won all but one of their last eight games. They are shooting over 50 percent in that span, while forcing opponents to commit 16 turnovers per game.
