The Minnesota Timberwolves are listing superstar big man Karl-Anthony Towns and small forward Andrew Wiggins as questionable to play in their game against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.

Towns is dealing with right knee inflammation after tweaking his knee on Saturday against the Washington Wizards. The All-Star center didn't play on Sunday versus the New York Knicks.

Wiggins, meanwhile, is suffering from a left quad contusion. The swingman hasn't played in the Timberwolves' last two games.

Minnesota is 32-35 on the season, 10th place in the Western Conference standings. The Timberwolves trail the San Antonio Spurs by six games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.

In 64 games this season, Karl-Anthony Towns has been a monster. The two-time All-Star is averaging 24.5 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 52.4 percent from the field, 40.5 percent from beyond the arc and 83.6 percent from the free-throw line.

KAT has 43 double-doubles on the season. The Timberwolves are 30-34 when he's in the lineup.

Andrew Wiggins, meanwhile, has had another down season for Minnesota and the fans are pretty much done with him. The 24-year-old is averaging 17.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Wiggins is shooting just 40.0 percent from the floor, 33.5 percent from the 3-point line and 70.0 percent from the foul line.
