The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions and superfan Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves will be wearing some new kicks in Wednesday's game to show his pride.

Darren Rovell an ESPN Sports Business Reporter has the details:

Salvador Amezcua better known as Kickstradomis designs all kinds of custom shoes for NBA Players and this pair of Towns is his latest.

Towns hasn't been shy about his love for the Eagles, starting when the Eagles played the Vikings. He posted on Snapchat things like Fly Eagles Fly, a comment that made many Timberwolves and Vikings fans upset.

In the Super Bowl, Towns was a cameraman for The Players Tribune, and took the most of the opportunity. He had this to say about the experience

“You know, when I asked The Players’ Tribune if I could be a guest photographer on the sidelines of Super Bowl LII — as an Eagles fan since I was a kid growing up in New Jersey — I knew there was a chance I’d get to see the Eagles win their first Super Bowl. In my lifetime, Philly has only made it to one other Super Bowl, and we lost that one to them guys in New England. This time, amazingly enough, the stars all aligned and revenge was served. Best of all, I was able to see the Eagles win the Super Bowl in Minneapolis, my home now.”

The Timberwolves have had since Saturday off, and this will be the first game since the Eagles won the championship that Towns will be playing.

Let's see if some of the Eagles' magic can rub off on the Timberwolves, specifically Towns, on Wednesday night.
