Simone Biles shocked the world with her decision to step away from the Tokyo Olympics team competition. Team USA went on to win a silver medal even without Biles, but her withdrawal brought a ton of reactions from the sports world. Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns reacted to Biles' withdrawal and gave her the ultimate compliment in the process.

Towns is absolutely right. Simone Biles is undoubtedly the GOAT of the gymnastics world and was set to dazzle on the world's biggest stage with high hopes surrounding Team USA. Her withdrawal wasn't due to any physical issue, but she admitted needing to work on her mental health with all the pressure weighing down on here. The hope is she'll be able to return for later events in these Olympics.
The Timberwolves star is just one of many to give the support and appreciation for Biles. It is never easy to compete in the Olympic Games, especially with all the hype surrounding one of the best gymnasts to ever exist in the history of the sport.
Biles still stood by and watched and supported her Team USA teammates after her withdrawal. First things first, everybody hopes that Biles can return. So far, the support has poured in from teammates, competitors, and the like.
