The bank was open on Sunday for Minnesota Timberwolves newly-extended forward Andrew Wiggins, who drilled a long three-pointer off-the-glass to beat the buzzer and defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder in front of their home fans.

The ending was designed for the Thunder's new addition in Carmelo Anthony to endear himself to the home crowd after nailing a wing 3-pointer with five seconds left in the game. Wiggins took advantage of a dubious screen by his teammate Karl-Anthony Towns, railing the game-winner after slithering past the Thunder defense.

Andrew Wiggins was suddenly asked if he had called glass upon releasing his shot, which he humbly admitted he didn't, only to get his Timberwolves teammate Karl-Anthony Towns add on to that in the most savage way possible.

This is one of the most impressive clutch displays for the 22-year-old, who is now emerging as a key component of this team moving forward.

An improved 3-point prowess and with another year under his belt, the Canadian has endeared himself to this Twin Cities fan base and will keep doing so as long as he makes these types of shots when they count.

Wiggins had a tied for a team-high 27 points, along with seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals — giving Minnesota its first road win of the season.
