Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns uncertain for matchup vs. Pelicans with ankle injury
Towns was forced to go to the locker room early on in Friday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, but came back into the game and earned a double-double by notching 30 points and 11 rebounds.
There’s no doubt that the T’Wolves would love to have him on the court in a matchup against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans, but that’s still unknown at this point, according to Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Karl-Anthony Towns wasn't convinced he'd be able to play tomorrow. Said he'll see how he feels overnight.

Towns is averaging 22.3 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game this season, and he continues to be one of the most dominant frontcourt players in the NBA.
Of course, fans would love to see him go up against Davis on Saturday, so hopefully, he’ll get the opportunity to play.
The T’Wolves currently sit at 20-22 overall on the season, and the loss to the Mavs snapped what had really been an impressive three-game winning streak with wins over the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, and Oklahoma City Thunder.
