The Minnesota Timberwolves are hosting the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night at Target Center on Prince Jersey night and to spice things up, Kevin Garnett decided to drop by.

Garnett is the best player to ever play for the team. The Prince Jersey City uniforms are also regarded as the best City uniforms the NBA has to offer. So KG felt it was appropriate to come on Friday out of all nights.

Kevin Garnett played 14 seasons for the Timberwolves. In 970 career games with Minnesota, Garnett averaged 19.8 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.6 blocks. Garnett won the 2004 MVP award as well.

Garnett actually criticized team owner Glen Taylor during the Jimmy Butler trade drama. The future Hall of Famer said Taylor “doesn't know sh*t” about basketball, so it must be an awkward moment for Taylor to see Kevin Garnett at the game Friday.

The Jimmy Butler trade saga is finally over and the vibe around the Timberwolves looks so much better with guys smiling on the court and bench. Tom Thibodeau allowed Derrick Rose to play music at practice on Thursday for Karl-Anthony Towns' birthday. It's very clear the Butler drama was a dark cloud on the Timberwolves.

Kevin Garnett finished his career with the Timberwolves after winning a championship with the Boston Celtics and then playing a few years with the Brooklyn Nets. He will surely have his jersey retired by the organization one day.
