Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley and Larsa Pippen have reportedly called it quits, according to Johnni Macke of Us Weekly. This comes after the two were seen together out in public in November of last year, which caught a lot of drama.

According to the report, Beasley and Pippen are “still in communication,” citing that they began as “friends first.” As for Pippen, she reportedly wanted to give some space to Beasley, who is apparently “going through a lot.”

Beasley definitely has a lot on his plate right now. At the time his controversial PDA photos with Pippen leaked out in public, Beasley was still married to his estranged wife Montana Yao. Montana revealed that she found out about her husband's side-relationship the same way the public did and immediately filed for divorce following the scandal.

Furthermore, Beasley is reportedly going through legal issues with his relationship with Montana. Montana reportedly sought spousal and child support from the Timberwolves guard. However, a recent court ruling reportedly denied her request.

In addition to this Montana Yao-Larsa Pippen drama, Beasley will reportedly be out for 4-6 weeks after suffering a left hamstring injury. Beasley just returned from league-imposed suspension due to an arrest during the off-season. Beasley will serve a 120-day sentence following the end of the 2020-21 campaign for the felony charges.

Hopefully, Beasley can get his life back on track, as not only is he going through injury woes on the court, but he is also in the midst of a lot of off-court drama. It's kind of a shame because the 24-year old has shown a lot of promise, especially this season for the Timberwolves. In 37 appearances so far this season, Beasley is averaging 19.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
