After acquiring star forward Jimmy Butler in a trade with the Chicago Bulls last month, the Minnesota Timberwolves have suddenly become borderline contenders for the NBA title.

Understandably, the Timberwolves are on cloud nine. They're at such a high right now that they even decided to take a shot at famed stand-up comic, Dave Chapelle, with a hilarious video documenting all the missed shots “Brick James” took at the Target Center back in 2013:

Minny actually has a pretty sound reason for bashing the 43-year-old comedian. Chappelle's known to be a Golden State Warriors fan and has been spotted at several Warriors games in Oracle Arena.

Now that the Wolves appear primed to challenge the Dubs in the West, dissing a Warrior fan like Chappelle is just the sort of playful mind game that the Wolves hope to impart unto their competition this upcoming season. That, or the team just wants to show that it has just as fine comedic chops as the star of cult films Half-Baked and Con Air.
