It's just two years into the Tom Thibodeau era in Minnesota, and there have already been all kinds of issues, especially this offseason.

There has been talk about if Karl-Anthony Towns could be traded, but according to Adrian Wojnarowski, it's not Towns who is on the trade block, it could actually be Andrew Wiggins.

“I think their owner would trade management/the coach before he would trade Karl-Anthony Towns,” Wojnarowski said via Uproxx. “I don’t think they would allow that. I just don’t believe they’d allow that kind of decision. And I don’t know that they’d want to trade him. To answer this first, Minnesota’s bigger issue is not…he’s Karl-Anthony Towns, they’re not moving him…I think Andrew Wiggins is the one you’re going to look at first. Because…you don’t have to make a decision on Towns and Jimmy Butler and one of those guys having to take less on an extension, because you can’t have three [max] guys.”

Wiggins signed his max deal last offseason, but he hasn't lived up to expectations, and although at times there are glimpses of how good he can be, it just doesn't seem like he does it often enough.

A lot of the times he is a liability on the defensive side of the court, and most games he disappears on offense. Last season he averaged 17.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He shot 43.8 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from deep.

Those are nice stats for an NBA player, but for a guy who was touted as the next superstar in the league, they are disappointing.
