Disgruntled Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler has been the talk of the town recently regarding his trade demands. Apparently unhappy with the work ethic of the Timberwolves youth movement, the four-time All-star has asked to be traded to either the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, or the L.A. Clippers. Willing to only re-sign to those teams, Butler's situation complicates things as he can eventually walk away to make himself eligible for next summer's free agency.

As complex as it already is, being one of the best two-way players in the league does not necessarily alarm most teams who want to acquire his services, even as a rental. Despite it being a serious matter, some people still find time to make a hilarious situation out of things.

According to a tweet from Chris Walder of The Score, one fan tried to pull a gag on the All-Star.

Although it was amusing to see a nonchalantly working out Butler pay enough attention to the prank, sending him to the Sacramento Kings is not actually a bad idea. The lesser California franchise has enough young assets and veteran talent to package an offer to the Timberwolves. Without a clear franchise star for the Kings, Butler can surely accommodate that lack.

The two-time All-NBA selection staying with the franchise is a different question though. If the Toronto Raptors went all in on Kawhi Leonard despite the future uncertainty, going for Jimmy Butler should not be much of a problem.

Realistically, Butler and the Timberwolves have a respite regarding their direction in the future. With interesting things to pan out in the future, keep your eyes on the Timberwolves this upcoming season.
