Karl-Anthony Towns was visually frustrated with point guard Jeff Teague during Monday's 125-109 loss to the Phoenix Suns, actively calling for the ball while open on the perimeter on a second-quarter possession. The Minnesota Timberwolves point guard, who was recently moved to the bench, purposely waved Towns off and took it upon himself to drive the ball against Ty Jerome, getting stuffed at the rim.

Towns was palpably upset with Teague's poor decision-making, especially considering the space he had to get off a clean jumper. Take a look:

Teague was moved to the bench to help facilitate his own offense while giving Andrew Wiggins more freedom. Timberwolves head coach Ryan Saunders intended for Teague to be more active and take matters into his own hands more with the second unit, but the veteran guard has mostly struggled in the bench role.

Meanwhile, Towns is shooting a rousing 42.4% from 3 and canning 3.6 of them per game, making him the more prudent offensive choice. Teague was the lone standout of a lackluster Timberwolves bench on Monday, but until he gets on the same page with Towns, Minnesota will struggle to win games. The Timberwolves now find themselves on the outside looking in, having lost five in a row and seven of the last 10 games.
