The Minnesota Timberwolves earned a controversial 131-130 win against the two-time defending champions Golden State Warriors on Friday. However, while a lot of people are focused on what they consider as wrong calls, there was one play that could've changed everything.

During the 3:24 mark of the overtime, Warriors forward Draymond Green had a wide open 3-point shot, but instead of taking the shot, he decided to pass it to Stephen Curry. Karl Anthony-Towns seemed to know that Dray wasn't going to shoot it, so he just waved him off.

To be fair, Draymond Green is shooting a measly 27 percent from behind the arc this season. Still, he could've taken the shot, especially with Karl-Anthony Towns far from him to contest the shot.

With the regular season ending in just two weeks, playoff teams like the Warriors need all the wins they could get to better position themselves in the playoff seedings. The loss against the Timberwolves tied them with the Denver Nuggets for the best record in the West.

While the Dubs will win the tie-breaker if they end up with the same record by the end of the season, they could also lose home-court advantage in the conference finals if Denver manages to win at least one more game than them.

The Warriors are gunning for their third straight title, and although they have enough talent to win it all, there are still a lot of factors that could cost them this season's title.
