The Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Rams are done with their date in Week 9 of the 2021 NFL regular season, but Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown is still hot. Brown is apparently ticked off by the actions on the field by Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, whom the Titans wideout called out after the contest, per Nick Gray of the Tennessean.

“I don’t mind the chirping, but little things after the play, little dirty stuff, I’m not going for it,” Brown said. “I'm a man first. I'm here to play football. I’m not trying to fight nobody. But I'm not taking (expletive) though.”

“He knows me. He has my number if he wants to see me,” Brown continued later. “That ain’t no threat, I'm just saying — He knows me. If he wants to talk to me, get at me. He has my number.”

When you pit one of the best wide receivers against one of the best cornerbacks, friction like this is almost automatic. Brown and the Titans had the last laugh in the game, though, Ramsey didn't make it easy for him. Brown caught five of 11 targets for 42 receiving yards with no touchdowns in a 28-16 road win for Tennessee.

The Titans have been phenomenal of late. Despite missing running back Derrick Henry, they managed to extend their unbeaten streak to five games with that victory over the Rams. Up next for them is a meeting with the New Orleans Saints at home in Week 10.
