The Tennessee Titans have a pivotal Week 14 matchup with the Oakland Raiders on tap this Sunday, but if they are going to win, they are going to have to do it without one of their top receivers.

Per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, wide receiver Adam Humphries has been ruled out this weekend due to an ankle injury that has kept him out of practice.

While Humphries has only caught five passes over the last three weeks, his contributions have been significant, as two of them resulted in touchdowns in wins over the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts.

On the season overall, Humphries has logged 37 catches for 374 yards and those two touchdowns.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Clemson, went undrafted but eventually landed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015.

He had a limited role during his rookie campaign, finishing with 27 grabs for 260 yards and a score, but the following year, Humphries had a breakout season of sorts, catching 55 passes for 622 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Spartanburg, S.C. native posted similar numbers in 2017, snaring 61 balls for 631 yards while reaching the end zone once, and last season, Humphries had his most productive year to date, hauling in 76 receptions for 815 yards and five scores.

Humphries' strong 2018 campaign resulted in a four-year, $36 million deal with the Titans back in March.

Tennessee has been rolling of late, as it has won three straight games and five of its last six to vault itself into the thick of the AFC Wild Card chase.

The Titans are 7-5 overall.
