Dez Bryant hasn’t had too many suitors since he went on the open market upon his release from the Dallas Cowboys. That fact that he remains available has surprised some former Cowboy greats like DeMarcus Ware and Darren Woodson.

However, Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker is working to change that. Walker has sounded out the former All-Pro receiver, saying the Titans would gladly take him on if he signs for them:

“[W]e’ve got some good, premier receivers on our team, Corey Davis, Rishard Matthews,” Walker said, via the Dallas Morning News. “It’s another element if they was to bring him to the team. If he can help us out, gladly I would welcome him with open arms.”

Walker also believes that despite some bad years of late, Bryant still has a lot left in the tank and can still contribute at a high level.

The Titans could certainly use another capable receiver like Bryant at quarterback Marcus Mariota's disposal. It’s not a promising sign that Walker-who had 74 catches for 807 yards in 2017-was comfortably the Titans’ most productive receiver last year.

Rishard Matthews is a solid receiver, while former No. 5 pick Corey Davis is likely to take a step up after an underwhelming rookie year. However, the team must still replace veteran Eric Decker, who was still easily the team’s third-best receiver despite being far from his best.

Even if Bryant isn’t the All-Pro-caliber receiver he was in his younger days, he may still be able to provide the Titans with decent production if he decides to go there. But with Dez not expected to sign until the start of training camp, Walker may have some waiting to do before Bryant makes his decision whether to join him in Tennessee.
