Derrick Henry is the lead back for the Tennesse Titans this year, and the expectations are high. The former Alabama Crimson Tide star was asked if he had any predictions for this year. He wasn't interested in giving any predictions, but he did say he wants to be a dominant back.

“No predictions, I just want to be a dominant back,” Henry said on Wednesday via the Titans team site. “I want to be a premier back in this league. And that is me starting out in training camp, getting ready with these guys, competing every day and getting better.

“I definitely want to be dominant this year, and any opportunities that I get, take advantage of them. Make plays for this offense, be a consistent back. I just want to do what I am asked and help this team win games, help this offense.”

Last year, Henry ran for 774 yards and four touchdowns even though he had to share rushing duties with DeMarco Murray. Last week Murray announced his retirement from the NFL and this year Henry will be sharing the backfield with former New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis.

Henry said he has enjoyed his time so far with Lewis and he is looking forward to working side by side with him this year.

“Dion is a great guy,” Henry said. “We have been getting along very well. We are excited to have a tandem together, and we just want to get in training camp and make each other better. We want to help this team make a run by going out there and making plays.”

The two should make a nice one-two punch, and together they have a chance to be dominant.
