Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is in the midst of yet another historic campaign. The 26-year-old is currently on pace to quash his personal record of 1,540 rushing yards from last season, and at this point, it should only be a matter of time before he beats his personal best.

In spite of his achievements from a statistical standpoint, however, Henry admitted that he's keeping his eye on the bigger picture:

“I'm not really worried about stats. I'm worried about winning,” the Titans RB said, via Drake Hills of the Tennessean. “Stats are stats. But for me, I'm worried about winning. Forget the stats.”

It is hard to really disregard the stats when he is playing at such an elite level. Derrick Henry is currently leading the league with 1,317 rushing yards and is well on track to surpass the 1,700-mark this season.

In Tennessee's Week 13 loss against the Cleveland Browns, Henry rushed 15 times for 60 yards, which for him, was a substandard outing. The Browns mounted a huge lead over the Titans, which led to Henry sitting out virtually the entire fourth period.

He should get back on track on Monday when Tennessee takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14. The Titans have lost two out of their last four games and will hope to get back to winning ways against the Jaguars.

At 8-4, Tennessee is tied with the Indianapolis Colts for the best record in the AFC South.
