The Tennessee Titans' Jadeveon Clowney nightmare continues, as the team placed him on injured reserve (IR) on Saturday, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Clowney is dealing with a meniscus tear in his knee. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo adds that surgery on Clowney's meniscus has been discussed by the Titans.

The Titans signed Jadeveon Clowney to a one-year, $13 million contract on Sept. 6. The former No. 1 overall pick with the Houston Texans has zero sacks on the season in eight games.

While Clowney has 19 total tackles, four tackles for loss, a forced fumble and six quarterback hits, fans of the Titans are upset he's being paid a lot of money and not producing sacks. His injury history is one of the main reasons the Seattle Seahawks were comfortable with letting him walk in free agency before the 2020 season started.

The Titans will face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. Both teams are 6-3 on the season and coming off bad losses in Week 10. Tennessee lost to the Indianapolis Colts at home on Thursday Night Football, while Baltimore fell to the New England Patriots on the road on Sunday Night Football.

It's going to be interesting to see if 2020 is Clowney's only season with the Titans. He wasn't good when he played and now his knees are once again acting up.
