The Tennessee Titans' best cover linebacker will face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in the AFC Championship. According to Paul Kuharsky, linebacker Jayon Brown will play.

Brown was a limited participant throughout the week with a shoulder injury. He is one of seven players considered questionable for Sunday's playoffs tilt in Kansas City.

Linebacker Rashaan Evans (foot), wide receiver Adam Humphries (ankle), cornerback Adoree' Jackson (foot), linebacker David Long (knee), wide receiver Cody Hollister (ankle) and right tackle Jack Conklin (shoulder) are all questionable to play for the Titans on Sunday.

On the other side of the ball, defensive tackle Chris Jones (calf), running back LeSean McCoy (illness) and quarterback Matt Moore (illness) are questionable for the Chiefs.

Now in his third season in the NFL, Brown has developed into one of the league's best pass coverage linebackers. After posting an allowed passer rating of 67.1 in 2018, per Pro Football Reference, he allowed a 77.7 in 2019, far below the league average.

Brown missed two games in 2019. He started in all 14 games he played, tallying 104 combined tackles, eight pass deflections, an interception, a sack and three tackles for loss in the process.

The Titans will rely on Brown to man the middle of the field against an electric Chiefs defense. He will also likely see snaps guarding tight end Travis Kelce, who gave the Houston Texans problems in the divisional round. His addition to the gameday roster is a big boost.

If the Titans were to beat the Chiefs, they would move on to Super Bowl LIV, where they would face either the Green Bay Packers or San Francisco 49ers.
