The Tennessee Titans have emerged as one of the possible destinations of free agent JJ Watt. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has recently opened up about the prospect of signing the decorated DE, and as it appears, the Titans are indeed interested in bringing the 31-year-old to Tennessee.

Vrabel was pretty vague with discussing his team's plans in free agency, but he did admit that they are currently considering Watt as a potential recruit:

“When you go into free agency, there’s a lot of things about player acquisition that go into it: What is best for your football team?” Vrabel said, via Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website. “Cost is also a part of it. The fit is a part of it, and then the need. . . . You mentioned JJ Watt, and there will be other veteran players that become available that we’ll have discussions on, and we have had discussions on JJ Watt. . . . There’s a lot of things that go into bringing in free agents, certainly ones that are past 30 or in the back half of their career. Those are all things that you wage and determine.”

Vrabel tried to play down the possibility of signing Watt, but it's hard not to focus on the prospect of seeing the five-time All Pro defensive end in a Titans uniform this coming season.

Tennessee won't be without competition for Watt's signature, though. It feels like every other team in the NFL is doing their due diligence on the highly sought-after free agent and for good reason.
