Former Falcons star wide receiver Julio Jones thanked the city of Atlanta as he prepares for a new chapter as a member of the Tennessee Titans.
Jones took to Instagram on Tuesday to thank Atlanta and Falcons fans for embracing him in his 10 seasons with the organization. He captioned the post “Forever I'll love Atlanta.”

Jones also stated he was excited to get to work with the Titans, thanking fans in Tennessee for welcoming him into the family.
There is no question the Titans are getting one of the elite receivers in the NFL.
Jones was a force to be reckoned with in his decade of brilliance with the Falcons. The former Alabama star was named to seven Pro Bowls and made First Team All-Pro in 2015 and 2016. He led the NFL in receiving yards in 2015 and 2018, ultimately being honored as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's All-Decade Team in the 2010s.
The Titans should have one of the most prolific offenses in football, with Ryan Tannehill throwing to both Jones and A.J. Brown and Derrick Henry luring in the backfield as the most dangerous running back in the NFL.
Jones' desire to leave Atlanta became public knowledge last month, but it shouldn't detract from what Jones achieved with the Falcons. Plus, the organization already faced the very real prospect of trading him so as to avoid issues with the salary cap.
Although Jones is headed to Nashville, he will never be forgotten as one of the greatest players in Falcons history.
